A fintech startup needed an internal dashboard for transaction monitoring. They had a tight timeline and needed both frontend and backend built from scratch with full test coverage.
Task
Build a full-stack dashboard with React frontend, Node.js API, and comprehensive test coverage, all within 6 weeks.
Action
We assembled a 3-person team (frontend, backend, QA) and delivered in sprints. The API was built with Express and PostgreSQL with Pact contract tests. The frontend used Next.js with Playwright E2E tests. CI/CD was set up from day one.
Result
Shipped to production in 4 weeks, 2 weeks ahead of schedule. Full test coverage from day one meant zero hotfixes in the first month. The client's team took over maintenance with full documentation.
