E-commerce: Frontend + E2E Testing

98%Test Coverage

Situation

An EU-based e-commerce company was rebuilding their storefront in React. They had no frontend tests and every release required 3 days of manual QA.

Task

Build the new React storefront with full E2E test coverage and eliminate the manual QA bottleneck.

Action

We developed the storefront in Next.js with TypeScript, built a component library with Testing Library tests, and created a Playwright E2E suite covering all critical user flows: browsing, cart, checkout, and payment.

Result

Shipped 3 major releases with zero regressions. Test coverage reached 98%. Manual QA time dropped from 3 days to 2 hours of focused exploratory testing.
